In Khasi, it is also known as Jump of ka Likai.
There has also a legend with Nohkalikai Falls. According to the Legend, a woman whose name was Ka Likai was a widow living near the falls with her infant. When she married a second time, her husband was jealous of the infant. When Ka Likai went for work, her husband killed the infant and cook the flesh. Ka Likai was aware of the tragedy, she got mad and jumped from the waterfall.

Last year I went with my family to Cherrapunji to explore the Mawsmai cave. Even without any guide, you can reach to the last of the Cave to explore. To visit the caves you need to pay few amount like Rs. 20 for each person. Inside the cave, the tourist department has fixed lights so that anyone can explore the cave without any guide.
The caves have been maintained very clean and tidy. Because of this eco-friendly environment, people who visit can have a look on the walls of the cave, its stalactites, and stalagmites. Water drips from the rocks inside the cave so better open up your shoes or wear a sports shoe. This is very good Meghalaya tourism for the adventure lovers.
When you walk inside the caves, you will find a small pool inside the cave which makes it look adventurous. In fact, there are also small passages where it is difficult for healthy people to go through.
